A crisis-creating gift from Miçotakis to the Greek Cypriot Administration! Yesterday, Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Anastasiadis visited Athens, the capital of Greece. During Anastasiades’ visit, Mitsotakis donated an airplane to the Greek Cypriot Administration and the handover ceremony was held.
SCANDAL EXPRESSION ON THE AIRCRAFT!
It was seen that there was an inscription symbolizing a new provocation against Turkey on the plane that Miçotakis gave as a gift. In the photo shared by the Greek Prime Ministry Press Office, the expression “Republic of Cyprus” on the plane drew attention.
Anastasiadis expressed his thoughts on the gift with these words:
“On behalf of the Cypriot people and government, as well as on behalf of myself, I would like to thank you very much. Perhaps we were the only EU country without a presidential plane and most importantly, a normal trip to Brussels could mean two extra days due to the isolation of the Republic of Cyprus.”

After the meeting, Greek Cypriot leader Anastasiades shared the following statements on his Twitter account:
“Cyprus and Greece will continue to work with strong cooperation and under the guise of national unity and solidarity. Thus, we will be able to face some important difficulties, especially Turkish revisionism.”
