On Steam you will currently get a very good survival game for less than € 20. But be careful: that should even be so good that afterwards the fun of other games goes by.
What game is we talking about? What is meant by players is highly acclaimed survival game Abiotic Factor. The game started in the early access in May 2024 and costs only € 19.60 instead of € 24.50 on Steam. By February 11, you save 20 % of the purchase price.
With “Dark Energy”, the Survival game has only recently received a large, free update. This brings a new underground region and expands the main story.
You can see the trailer for “Dark Energy” here:
What is the game about? In Abiotic Factor, you (either alone or with up to 5 other players) slip into the role of scientists. After a catastrophic incident in your laboratory, portals suddenly appear in other dimensions from which paranormal creatures flow.
As a scientist you are not a born fighter, but you can craft yourself rather refined weapons and tools. In addition, you look for one of many doctors before the start of the game that bring you special skills and advantages.
How does the game currently arrive? Of over 19,000 reviews on Steam, 96 % are positive. According to many players, the important mechanics such as crafting and progression feel satisfactory and exploration is also fun, especially in the co -op with friends or family.
According to a Steam review, the game should even be so good that afterwards you no longer want to switch to other genre representatives. This is how Fish & Chips writes on Steam:
When does the game leave early access? According to the current roadmap of the developers, it should be so far in the late spring 2025. The developers do not rule out or confirm that the standard price will increase with the release of version 1.0.
Another survival game that is supposed to start the early access on Steam this year is reminiscent of the indie pearl This War of Mine, but with zombies. You can find out more in this article: A new Survival game on Steam puts your humanity to the test-300,000 players want to test it
