After months of work, the Tarn mine museum has just reopened in Cagnac-les-Mines. It immerses visitors in the daily life of underground miners who were going to extract coal and even simulates a firedamp explosion. Technologies partly compensate for the testimonies of former miners, which are rare. Not many of them are still alive.
