A fire broke out on Wednesday in the center of Moscow on Znamenka street, the emergency service tells Tassi. The building is located in the area of the Ministry of Defense.
Images shared by state media on social media showed a cloud of black smoke. In addition, according to the emergency service, flames could be seen in the window of the third floor of the building.
Tass says that the fire, which spread to an area of 60 square meters, was put out shortly after it started. The authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
