An eight-year-old boy was found dead in a home in Luleå on Sunday evening. The boy’s father was arrested, and on Tuesday the prosecutor announced that the suspicions had been strengthened.
– Partly from information in his interrogation but also from other investigative measures we have taken, said Deputy Chief Prosecutor Lindha Strömberg to TV4 Nyheterna.
Today, the man, who himself is being treated at a psychiatric hospital, was requested to be detained.
Police and prosecutors are otherwise tight-lipped about the circumstances surrounding the suspected murder.
