A fake site impersonates the Ministry of the Armed Forces and encourages the French to “commit to Ukraine”, the name of the site’s URL, registered on March 15, according to Tech&Co. The web page claims that “France is recruiting and training 200,000 men to carry out operations in Ukraine.” The site also announces that soldiers will receive “a 100% discount on funeral services”, but also “a bonus of 1 million euros to the family in the event of death” and a salary reaching 5,000 euros gross per month. It is also possible to trade with fake soldiers. : 70 fake profiles are presented there. A form also allows you to leave personal data such as date of birth, email address and telephone number, so you can be contacted again.
A “disinformation campaign”
