Tampa Bay twisted an important away win over the New York Rangers and took the lead for the first time in the final series of the Eastern Conference.

Reigning champion Tampa Bay is already winning the Stanley Cup final. Lightning broke the New York Rangers ’eight-home winning streak when it won the match in Madison Square Garden by 3 to 1 and moved into the driver’s seat for the first time in the final series of the Eastern Conference.
Tampa are now leading the series with 3 to 2 victories and will have a chance to secure a place in the Stanley Cup final early Sunday when it next meets the Rangers at their home in Florida. The Rangers are facing a forced victory.
