Since Monday, the De Stichtse Rijnlanden Water Board has been organizing the multi-day crisis exercise ‘IJssel’ together with Defense and the municipality of Oudewater. A total of more than thirty military personnel and two hundred water board employees are active in and around Oudewater and in parts of Lopik, IJsselstein, Montfoort, Vlist, Haastrecht and Gouda.
