One person has been found dead after a fire in an apartment in Gislaved municipality during Friday night, police say.
“One person was found deceased by rescue services. The apartment has been blocked off for technical investigation. The fire should not have been extensive in itself and no major extinguishing work needed to be started,” the police write on their website.
Crime is investigated
An investigation into murder and murder has been initiated. According to the police, it is done to “be able to rule out that someone brought the person about life”, as there is currently nothing to indicate that a crime has been committed.
The alarm about the incident arrived just before 10 pm on Friday.
