A daytime marauding to keep in touch with the homeless

Located very close to Paris, it is the only city in the Seine-Saint-Denis department which has set up a daytime patrol for homeless people. With Samu social 93, a team of professional social workers comes into contact every day with homeless people, whether or not they have already been identified by the city’s social services. The objective of these daytime patrols is to establish contact with a public in street situations throughout the department.

A daily task which allows us to provide comfort and help in kind, but also and above all to identify needs and direct the homeless towards the competent services in terms of social actions. Long-term work sometimes accompanied by a lot of frustration as the lack of resources is increasingly felt by social workers.
