There is a strange bug in League of Legends: an ability of the hero Akshan ensures that the servants of a team no longer run towards the enemy base and attack, as is their duty, but the servants suddenly turn towards the tower of your own team and shoot at it. Apparently, Riot didn’t work properly here, but used a trick that is now taking revenge in LoL.
How is it actually thought?
About 20 blue minions are attacking a blue tower
Now this happened in a LoL game: As a user of reddit shows, it was completely different for him in a ranked game: On the botlane, a good 20 servants gathered around a blue tower, shot and hit it – but without the tower being damaged.
Still, the blue hordes treacherously attacked their own tower.
Riot probably cheated on Akshan’s ability – now it’s taking revenge
What has happened there? Apparently this is a bug related to the champion “Akshan”. He joined League of Legends in mid-2021.
Its “E” ability is a hookshot that gets stuck in the 1st terrain it hits. He can then swing towards the hook.
In patch 12.20, the ability was buffed so Ashkan can now swing around certain structures, such as turrets, as often as he likes. Apparently the code isn’t implemented very cleanly and has these strange side effects on servants.
On reddit, a user explains: The ability would apparently summon an “unassailable minion” who then drives the other minions crazy because they still want to attack him.
How’s that going? Riot apparently used a trick on how to use the ability that is not implemented very cleanly and that turns loyal servants into treacherous sacks.
It is believed that Riot Games will fix the bug soon.
