When the police received the alarm about the car, they were on their way to Mönsterås to capture a loose cow on the E22. On their way to the site, they encountered a car driving in the wrong direction.
– The police took up the hunt for the car instead. Shortly afterwards, the man collided with the cow, which was still loose, says police spokesperson Sara Andersson.
According to the police, the cow is alive but injured after the collision. The man was under the influence of alcohol at the time and is suspected of serious drunken driving and negligence in traffic.
