Another dark affair in the French XV. A woman filed a complaint against two players of the French XV, Oscar Jégou and Hugo Auradou, who were arrested this Monday, July 8 in Buenos Aires. The two Frenchmen are accused of having committed a sexual assault at the Diplomatic Hotel in Mendoza, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, where the players and staff were staying after the match against the Pumas.
Daniela Chaler, chief prosecutor of crimes against physical integrity in Buenos Aires, said that the players are currently in custody. The two rugby players are to be transferred to Mendoza to notify them of what they are accused of. They were arrested because there was a risk, the players were due to fly to Uruguay and play their second test match.

Jégou denied the facts.
His entourage, contacted by RMC Sport, indicates that the third row of La Rochelle, who was able to briefly exchange with his relatives by text message, denies any sexual assault and violence. Jégou and Auradou admit to a sexual relationship with the complainant, but consensual.
