a collector’s console Sonic 2 the movie, with fur

The arrival on the big screen of Sonic 2 The Movie gave ideas to SEGA, Paramount and Microsoft who joined forces for a collaboration that did not go unnoticed. It is indeed the creation of an Xbox Series S custome collector in the colors of the film and the two characters that are Sonic and Tails, since the fox will take his first steps in the cinema in a few days. The console sports a black covering with the artwork of Sonic facing Knuckles at the bottom of the machine, while a gold ring can be seen circling the console’s famous air vent. The idea is rather welcome, but personally, we find that the whole lacks homogeneity because of this illustration which did not need to be there.

On the other hand, it is at the level of the controllers that the designer has surpassed himself since two controllers are supplied with the Xbox Series S and each one not only sports a different color (blue for Sonic, red for Knuckles), but are also covered with a fur that refers to the coat of the two animals (yes, we know, a hedgehog has no fur). A daring, original, very surprising choice, even if we suspect that to play, it might be a bit embarrassing. But as everyone knows, this kind of collector’s console is made to be displayed in the window, not to be used. Anyway, it is not a commercial machine, this is a prize for an exceptional contest that is offered only in the United States. No chance therefore that a Frenchman leaves with it. Shame…
