Many gray areas remain to be clarified and the investigation has only just begun, but three adults close to the child are suspected.

Drama in Montluel. Friday December 6, a seven-year-old child was found dead in his home. While three adults were on site, investigators have so far been unable to accurately determine the responsibilities of each. The child’s mother, uncle and aunt were therefore placed in police custody. As stated Progressit seems that at least one of them could be involved in the death of the little boy.

The young victim apparently died from blows. Were they accidental? Volunteers? The autopsy of the victim must take place this Tuesday and will notably make it possible to verify “the exact causes of the traumatic death”, relays BFMTV. The judicial investigation was opened on the counts of “violence on a minor of 15 years leading to death without intention of causing it, by an ascendant or a person having authority over the victim” as well as for “failure to assist a minor under 15 years in danger and false reporting to a judicial or administrative authority leading to unnecessary research.”

The three adults, who were heard on Sunday in police custody, according to Progresswere referred Monday to the Bourg-en-Bresse judicial court and indicted for “failure to assist a minor under 15 in danger” and “false denunciation to a judicial or administrative authority leading to unnecessary research”, indicates the prosecution which specifies in its press release that they have been placed under judicial supervision. Present at the time of the tragedy, the victim’s two brothers were temporarily placed in custody, following a report from the public prosecutor’s office.
