In League of Legends, there are always champions that annoy the community because they are super strong, you see them in every game, or because people just think the champion is unfair. Currently, the object of hatred is the champion brand, which performs incredibly well.
How good is Brand currently? Brand is a champion who has been in the game since 2011 and was mainly played as a support. However, for a while now he has been played pretty much everywhere except the top lane and successfully.
If you look at the current statistics for all ranks on U.GG, Brand is performing quite well.
What is particularly striking here is his incredibly high APC value, which makes him the best bot laner in the game in terms of win rate. Interestingly, the support role is his second worst after the top lane at 50.86%.

Players are fed up
Why is Brand so strong? A big part of his success is his simple game design. His abilities, except for the Q ability, are pretty easy to hit and his passive ability provides easy clears in the jungle and a huge amount of damage in combat. His ultimate is useful in every teamfight and also helps to activate the passive ability. The synergy with the Blackfire Torch item is also really good and works in all lanes.
The Reddit community is now tired of seeing Brand in every match.
Many don’t necessarily see the skills themselves as a problem, but rather the synergy with items like Rylai’s Crystal Scepter or Liandry’s Anguish.
Will anything change? It is very likely that Brand will be nerfed soon. He was already weakened in the last patch, and since he is still so good, it can be assumed that more nerfs will follow. In addition to Brand, soft inter is also bothering the community, and Riot wants to take care of it.
