The construction game “Satisfactory” is already “extremely positive” on Steam with 97% recommendations. With the full release, however, it wants to go one step further and soon fulfill fans’ greatest wish.
What kind of game is this? Satisfaction is a construction game for up to 10 players in which you build a factory on a strange alien planet. However, the huge, open game world also needs to be explored and its resources mined.
The game entered Early Access on Steam and Epic on March 19, 2019. Since then, it has sold more than 5.5 million copies and built a loyal fan base: it boasts 97% recommendations from almost 140,000 reviews.
What was fortunately still missing was the full release… and apparently toilets. That is exactly what is about to change.
The community’s running gag becomes reality
When is Satisfactory coming? In a new trailer on July 5, 2024, Coffee Stain Studios announced a release for September 10, 2024. In a press release, the creators promise “tons of new features” – one of which the community has been demanding for at least 2 years.
What feature is it? These are flushable toilets. Yes, you read that correctly. The once boring restrooms of your base are now supposed to offer unprecedented soundscapes thanks to high-quality plumbing.
Toilet flushing is a kind of running joke in the community that goes back to the devs’ streams. They joked that the real money was in the “Toilet Flush DLC” for $1.
Satisfactory Toilet Flush is set to launch on September 10th alongside the full release, so players will have to hold off until then.
In March, Twitch streamer Trymacs attempted a world record in Satisfactory, but it was sabotaged by a hacker. Fortunately, the streamers could rely on their loyal community: Hacker wants to destroy Trymacs and Rumathra’s world record – but community helps streamers to rebuild everything
