The body of a thirty-eight-year-old man was discovered in a bag, inside a storage unit, in Mulhouse. An investigation is open.
It was a macabre discovery made by the owner of a storage unit in Mulhouse on Tuesday December 24. Without news from his tenant, a thirty-eight-year-old man, who had not paid his rent since June, the owner decided to go there and open the box he owns.
Death has not yet been dated
As reported BFMTVupon entering the room, he discovered a cupboard lying on the floor, filled with earth. Curious, the owner opened it and found a burlap and plastic bag, inside which was a body in advanced decomposition. The body then matches the description of the man, already wanted for a worrying disappearance.
The owner contacted law enforcement, who arrived on scene with a medical examiner. He was unable to date the death of the deceased. On the other hand, he was able to identify the victim’s tattoos, which are similar to those of the missing man.
For the moment, it is impossible to determine the cause of death of this man, also known to the police. The conditions in which his body was found leave little room for the possibility of an accident. The investigation was entrusted to the criminal brigade of the organized crime division.
