Available only a few days ago, Dying Light 2 divided the critics, sometimes delighted to find themselves in this very vertical post-apo world where one can have fun playing the Yamakazi, sometimes disappointed with the archaic open world which keeps repeating what has been done for 15 years. If the game is doing very well with the specialized press (77% average on Metacritic), among players, the note is much higher. With a user score of 5.6/10, many players have expressed their dissatisfaction following the many bugs that emanate from the game, when it is not a question of blocking bugs that prevent progress, problems with backups, or even still disconnection problems when playing in co-op. The Techland studio is aware of all these disappointments and is working hard to release a corrective patch very quickly.
Also, to reassure players, the Polish developers have decided to detail the content of the first patch which should correct a lot of things, platform by platform. And the first thing that jumps out at you is that the PC version is by far the most polished. Indeed, on the PlayStation and Xbox consoles, the list of patches is much larger, which proves once again that this Dying Light 2 was released much too early, like many other games. They would have deserved 2/3 months of additional development to correct these bugs.
