A 6.4 magnitude earthquake occurred in Tainan city in southwestern Taiwan. Tainan Fire Bureau announced that 6 houses collapsed in the earthquake on Minzu Street, where single-storey buildings are located. It was stated that 11 people from collapsed houses were rescued and 4 people were injured.
6.4 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE
The US Geological Survey (USGS) announced that an earthquake occurred 12 kilometers north of the Yujing region in southwestern Taiwan.
According to initial findings, no casualties were reported in the earthquake.
Taiwan Central Meteorological Administration announced the magnitude of the earthquake as 6.4.
6 PEOPLE WERE INJURED
Taiwan fire officials announced that 6 people were rescued with minor injuries from a collapsed house in Tainan province in the south of the island.
Authorities stated that a bridge was damaged due to the earthquake.
