a 4th expansion announced thanks to the success of End

As Guild Wars 2 prepares to celebrate its 10th anniversary, NCSoft and the Korean studio ArenaNet have just announced the production of a fourth expansion, just one month after the release of End of Dragons, which enjoys a success and an almost unexpected popularity. The exact figures have not yet been revealed, but according to the studio, the number of active players has doubled in three years, which makes the developers particularly moved and grateful to this community which is loyal to them and above all growing.

The development team threw their hearts and souls into this expansion, the entire development of which took place during one of the most difficult times of our lives. We can’t thank the team enough for all of their hard work, attention to detail, and dedication to the studio, the franchise, and our fans. We also want to extend our thanks to you, our community: without your support and trust, we wouldn’t be here.

History of trying to reach an even wider audience, Guild Wars 2 will soon arrive on Steam, with compatibility with DirectX11, but for the moment, no release date on the Valve platform has been communicated. The developers want perfect integration, without the slightest hitch, and therefore give themselves the time and the means to do so. At the same time, the content for End of Dragons will obviously be enriched and a roadmap for 2022 has been unveiled. We see the addition of new game modes, challenges through festivals, but also gameplay readjustments, but also better and more frequent communication to make the experience even more enjoyable for players.
