The man is said to have been on the fourth floor.
– Flames shot out from the balcony so there was no other way out, says Lotta Åberg, line operator Rescue Service.
The fire is now out and the emergency services are investigating whether it has spread to neighboring apartments.
According to the press service at Region Skåne, the man is currently being treated in the emergency room, but the extent of his injuries is still unclear.
An arson report has been filed.
