A 10 hour adventure epic that tells of a 400 year old war

Who remembers the Shogun series? The historical spectacle with Richard Chamberlain was broadcast on television from 1980 and achieved top ratings in many countries. James Clavell’s novel about a European who ends up in graceful but horribly brutal 17th century Japan now re-released with the Shogun series. It is now available to stream on Disney+.

Shogun tells a fictional story based on historical events in the year 1600. The influence of Portuguese and Catholic missionaries is increasing in Japan.
