V Rising is an original creation by Stunlock Studios, a Swedish development studio created in 2010. With its many players and viewers on Twitch, it is starting to establish itself as a must-have for the year 2022. If, like us, you have been seduced by its scathing gothic universe, you are probably wondering about the nature of blood essences. These small resources can quickly prove to be a powerful brake on the construction of your empire, and particularly the superior blood essences. We explain where and how to find them and how to create them effectively.
How do I create Greater Blood Essences in V Rising?
Technically speaking, it will be impossible for you to find higher blood essences in the wild, unlike simple blood essences. But it will be quite possible for you to make them. To craft them, you will need a blood press. You can build it for 120 stone and 12 wooden planks. Once the press is built, you will get new recipes to create blood essences. To create Greater Blood Essences, you will have two choices:
- You can use four Intact Hearts to get a Greater Blood Essence. Intact Hearts are found on high level, high blood quality enemies. So do not hesitate to go and kill some bosses that you have already defeated to get more.
- You can use 100 blood essence for a superior blood essence. Only, this second recipe is only obtained after defeating Tristan the Vampire Hunter, a tough V Boss that roams the roads of Farbane Woods. But beware, Tristan is a particularly tough opponent. Level 46, and as its name suggests, its attacks are particularly effective against vampires. A fight for which you will need good equipment, and ranged attacks.
Once you have obtained both recipes, you will be able to begin your production of superior blood essences, which will be essential in the creation of high level items and in the improvement of your castle core.
