The Samsung Galaxy Fold was the company’s first mass-produced foldable phone. The South Korean company thus entered a sector where many companies were not involved. Galaxy Fold could be used as both a phone and a tablet, as expected from a foldable phone. However, there were still shortcomings. Samsung aimed to solve most of these problems with the Galaxy Z Fold 2, which it released after the first model. Galaxy Z Fold 2 was followed by Galaxy Z Fold 3, which was introduced together with Galaxy Z Flip 3. However, Samsung has not forgotten the original Galaxy Fold model.
