Heard expressed his experiences during the lawsuit process as follows:

Heard stated that the deal he signed with DC and Warner Bros. covers Justice League, Aquaman, and Aquaman 2, and his role in Aquaman 2 is getting smaller day by day. Heard plays princess Mera in the Aquaman series:
“When I put together the first draft of the script and the drafts that have been changed over time, I saw that the scenes where Mera got into action were mostly cropped. I won’t give spoilers, but in a scene where two characters fight, they cut my role a lot.”
