While the Russia-Ukraine war continued in the east and south of Ukraine, Belarus reinforced its army with Russian missiles. Belarusian leader Lukashenko stated that they bought weapons from Russia during his meeting with Russia’s Nijegorod Region Governor Gleb Nikitin in Minsk.
“WE HAVE AGREEMENT WITH PUTIN”
Expressing that they agreed with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Lukashenko said, “We bought the ‘S-400s’ and ‘Alexanders’ as we needed from Russia, and armed our army. With these weapons, our army has become a completely different army.” said.
“WE WILL MAKE MISSILE FASTER WITH THE Russians”
Noting that Belarus has preserved and developed the foundations of its industry, which produces many types, including the military field, Lukashenko said, “We negotiated missile production with Putin. They will help to perfect the new missiles we build. We have made significant progress, but we will build normal missiles faster with the Russians.” he said.
Pointing out that the work in this direction will take one year, Lukashenko stated that they can produce Iskender missiles by the end of the year if there is a faster opportunity. (AA)
