On 20 June last year, Gökhan Altay’s body was found in his house in Erenköy Mahallesi Denk Sokak of Odunpazarı district.
FIRST SUICIDE, THEN SUSPICIOUS DEATH
According to initial assessments, the death of Altay, who was alleged to have committed suicide, was determined as a suspicious death by the crime scene investigation teams. Thereupon, a special team was formed by the Provincial Security Directorate Public Security Branch Office of Murder Bureau under the coordination of the Eskişehir Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office to shed light on the incident.

As a result of the studies carried out for 11 months by the special team, 7 suspects, including 3 women, including the deceased’s wife, were found to be related to the death of Gökhan Altay; He was caught in a simultaneous operation in Eskişehir, Ankara, Hatay and Aksaray.

Detained suspects Esra Altay, SB, KD, DD, CD, BD and SD were referred to the courthouse after their interrogations at the police station.
