Apple has begun rolling out new versions of its iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS and macOS operating systems. We encourage you to quickly install these updates which include bug fixes, but especially security vulnerabilities. Thus, Apple indicates 27 vulnerability fixes in iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5, 18 in watchOS 8.6 and 20 in tvOS 15.5. The record goes to macOS 12.4, with the correction of 54 flaws, 6 of which were transmitted by security researcher Wojciech Regula. He expressed his satisfaction in the tweet below:
The flaws in macOS affect a wide variety of elements. Examples include the Contacts application (access to user data through a plug-in), Intel graphics drivers (executing code with kernel privileges), printers (bypassing privacy preferences), and private browsing Safari (a malicious site can still track the user).
Apple also released patches for macOS Catalina (2022-004) and macOS Big Sur (11.6.6), as well as for the Xcode integrated development environment (13.4).

According to the manufacturer’s documents, tvOS 15.5 only brings performance and stability improvements. WatchOS version 8.6 will mainly interest Mexican users with support for the ECG app and arrhythmia notifications. Indeed, Apple must receive the agreement of the relevant services in each country to activate certain health-related functions on its connected watches.
Finally, macOS 12.4 also makes it possible to limit the number of episodes stored on the computer in Podcasts and brings new firmware for the Studio Display monitor camera, in order to improve image quality.
Updates happen automatically, but you can enable them manually by going to the device settings section dedicated to the system.
