Iranian television has broadcast images of the two Frenchmen arrested in Iran and accused of trying to push the leaders of the (banned) teachers’ union to create unrest in the country.

On the images broadcast by state television, we can see the two French Cécile Kohler, 37, a member of the management of a major French teachers’ union, and her companion Jacques Paris, upon their arrival in Tehran on April 28.
Passports are also filmed. Next, the footage shows photos and videos of the couple in the company of heads of Iran’s teachers’ union. proof for Iran that they wanted to push to create unrest in the country.
Four French detained in Iran
The television also shows the two Frenchmen participating in a parade of Iranian teachers who have been protesting for several months against their economic situation and are demanding an increase in their salary.
Finally, we see the images of their arrest on the road to the airport on May 7 when they were to take a plane to go to Turkey, according to state television. With these images, Tehran seems to want to show that it has proof of the activities of the two Frenchmen in Iran.

With these arrests, there are now four French detainees in Iran. Benjamin Briere was sentenced to more than eight years in prison for espionage and Franco-Iranian researcher Fariba Adelkha to five years in prison for action against national security. In the past, Iran has carried out prisoner exchanges with Western countries, notably France.
