UniCredit, Edoardo Mercadante has more than 5% stake

Unicredit Board of Directors on quarter postponed to May 4th

(Finance) – Edoardo Mercadantewho had been in the spotlight in the match Intesa Sanpaolo-UBI, has a stake of more than 5% in the shareholding of UniCredit. Mercadante owns one 5,059% share in the bank, held as a non-discretionary asset management company, through the company Parvus Asset Management Europe. It is learned from Consob communications relating to significant shareholdings, where it is indicated that the transaction took place last May 6.

Two days earlier, or on May 4, a 5.129% stake in Mercadante was reported. In particular, 4.236% are voting rights attributable to shareswhile 0.893% are shares subject to a stock lending agreement with the possibility of return at any time at the discretion of Parvus Asset Management Europe Limited.
