Whistles or even motorcycle horns sounded along the route for nearly 3 km. On the signs, one could read: “ No to France », « France releases “.
Hundreds of high school students joined the procession, perched on motorcycles. The procession even tried to pass the roundabout where the march was to end. But a few tear gas canisters then forced them to retreat.
In the end, there was no speaking out because of the crowd, but the Wakit Tama spokesperson said he was proud of the mobilization. Me Max Loalngar: “ What happened warmed our hearts. We thought we were crazy. This is the first time that we have had so many rallies. There were traders, associations, but you also saw that maybe my brothers in the North were more numerous than us who wear trousers, but the Chadian people, as a whole, were there. »
At the end of the demonstration, groups of young people attacked several Total stations across the capital.

It should be noted that the Les Transformateurs party, led by Succès Masra, is dissociating itself from this demonstration at the call of Wakit Tama. He believes, in a press release, that it is against injustice and the political system in Chad that we must fight.
