MATHEMATICS BAC SUBJECT. Some high school students took the math test on May 11 and 12. The topics, as well as the answers to the exercises written by teachers, are available in this article.
[Mis à jour le 13 mai 2022 à 17h06] On Wednesday May 11 and Thursday May 12, all the candidates who opted for mathematics specialty teaching took the exam. Calculator in hand and math formulas in mind, they carried out various exercises on numerical functions or geometry. Two mathematics subjects were proposed this year, one for each day of the test, and of the four exercises presented the candidates had to perform only three, those of their choice. On the menu of the two tests we found the same themes: functions and exponential functions, sequences, probabilities and geometry in space, enough to cast a wide net and allow the candidates to deal with the subjects they mastered best.
Once the test is over, candidates enter the waiting period until the publication of the baccalaureate results scheduled for July 5. As with all specialty tests, the mark obtained in mathematics counts as a coefficient of 16 in the bac average. It is always possible for the candidate to make estimates on their grade by consulting the corrected exercises written by certified math teachers.

What were the mathematics subjects on Wednesday May 11 and Thursday May 12? Both consisted of four exercises, including a six-question MCQ on numerical functions and sequences. When will the results of the math test be published?
Although the mathematics test is organized one month before the written and oral French, philosophy and oral tests, the results could not be known until the publication of all the results, namely July 5. 2022. Initially, the mark obtained in this test should have appeared in the Parcoursup file but with the postponement of the dates, it is possible that the announcement of the candidates’ results will be postponed until the end of the baccalaureate.
