The subjects of the engineering science test (SI), a subject which constitutes a “specialty” in the 2022 baccalaureate exam, were unveiled on May 11 and 12. Candidates for the 2022 baccalaureate who chose this subject were assessed over two days: with a battery of exercises in two different parts. The SI subjects of the 2022 baccalaureate but also the answer keys, provided by our partner Studyrama, are all available in their entirety in this article.
No surprise, the exercises did not come out of the planned program. The first candidates to take the test were interrogated in particular on personal motorized transport devices (EDPM) such as scooters, electric skateboards, hoverboards, Segways, mono-wheels… With questions on the calculation of angles, sizes control, tilt curves.
Candidates who passed the engineering science test on May 12 were questioned on a fairly similar subject, with the object of study being a “slope simulator for home trainers” and the main problem: “The slope simulator make it possible to reproduce realistic gradient variations for the cyclist from the information sent by the home-trainer?”
Answer keys for the engineering science test are made available thanks to our partner Studyrama. They make it possible to gauge the relevance of the answers given by the pupils of terminale having passed this test during the first as during the second session.

The subjects of the Engineering Science (IS) specialty test are revealed on Linternaute, in partnership with Studyrama. This is presented in four different exercises, which must all be treated, evoking various themes. The candidates worked on wheelchairs, panenka, lactic fermentation of yoghurt or the physics of sound on a multifunction mobile. The test was divided into two parts: engineering sciences and physical sciences. If each counts for 20 points, the first is coefficient 12, when the second is only coefficient 4.

The results of the Engineering Sciences specialty exam will be available on July 5, at the same time as the results of the other exams (French, philosophy and major oral). The fact that specialty courses are evaluated one month earlier does not affect the publication of the results.
