For health reasons, the Canadian diva is forced to postpone her European tour Courage and therefore, his French concerts scheduled at Paris la Défense Arena on September 16, 17, 20, 21, 23 and 24, 2022. These shows in the capital had already been postponed twice due to the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions sanitary. Tickets for the 6 French dates at Paris La Défense Arena of the tour Courage World Tour from 2020 or 2021 or 2022 will be valid for 2023.
“I am so sorry, saddened to have to postpone the shows once again. The first time it was obviously because of the pandemic and this time it is my health that forces me to postpone the shows of the European tour”, explains Celine Dion in a video posted on YouTube. For several months, Celine Dion has suffered from persistent health problems, which prevent her from going back on stage.
But this new postponement is an opportunity for her to give reassuring news: “I still feel a little better. My doctors are following me. I am receiving treatment. But I still have muscle spasms. Recovery takes a lot longer. longer than I thought. I have to be in good shape, in good health so that I can give 100% of myself on the stage because that’s what you deserve.”
Initially, after the first two postponements of Celine Dion’s European tour, the Canadian diva was to be at Paris La Défense Arena for six dates: September 16, 17, 20, 21, 23 and 24, 2022. After this new counter- time related to the health of the singer, the Courage World Tour will pass through Paris, in the same venue, in September 2023. Here are the details of Celine Dion’s new concert dates (compared to the initial date, then to the first two postponements):

- September 2, 2013 – Postponement of 06/26/2020, 03/20/21 and 09/17/22
- September 5, 2023 – Postponement of 06/30/20, 03/23/21 and 09/20/22
- September 6, 2023 – Postponement of 01/07/20, 24/03/21 and 01/09/22
- September 9, 2023 – Postponement of 07/03/20, 03/26/21 and 09/23/22
- September 10, 2023 – Postponement of 04/07/20, 27/03/21 and 24/09/22)
At the end of 2021, Celine Dion announced the cancellation of a series of concerts in Las Vegas. Since then, news of the singer has been rare. The 53-year-old singer suffers from “severe and persistent muscle spasms”, preventing her from going on stage. “What is happening to her is painful. But there is nothing serious, otherwise she would have told me: Céline does not hesitate to confide in her and to ask for advice when something is wrong. I know that she has the moral. She is very well surrounded by the members of our family”, underlined Claudette Dion, who estimates the duration of absence of Celine Dion at “a few weeks, even a few months….”
