Pointing out that the side effects of the vaccine were discussed and the second group study on the safety aspect aimed to reach approximately 3-4 thousand people, Kara said, “At this point, we have an advantage compared to the beginning; Since inactivated vaccines are generally used and administered to approximately 3.5 billion people worldwide, we know what and how often their potential adverse effects are. We are looking at whether these effects are seen in TURKOVAC as well. We saw that data were also positive.’ used the phrases. In other words, according to the reviews, no serious side effects were observed in the Turkovac vaccine.
Kara pointed out that these two groups of data are very advantageous results in the emergency use approval process. Scientific Committee Member Prof. Dr. Kara stated that many tests were carried out for the production phase of the vaccine and stated that TURKOVAC was found to be producible.
