Unless there are major setbacks, Carolina’s Antti Raanta will be up and running early Saturday morning in Boston. Raanta left in the middle of the second match of the series after getting a hit in the opening round.
In Raleigh, many didn’t have to believe their eyes in the opening round of the second round of the first round of the Carolina and Boston playoffs. Probably the most relieving information was that Raanta did not have a concussion in the situation.
– I did tests and was given a green light that there is no concussion.
The situation also sparked a debate over whether Pastrnak’s penalty of two minutes was a sufficient penalty in a situation where a field player completely unnecessarily hits the goalkeeper. Raanta himself reacted to the situation without its greater emotional turmoil.
– Did “Pasta” have self-protection when he raised his hand, but a little in the aftermath that hand extension seemed to come. It’s awful to comment on these, because you can always bump in when you start playing the puck. In my opinion, I played the situation right and didn’t leave my area terribly. There are pros and cons.

Raanta went ice skating in Raleigh on Thursday morning before the team flew to Boston for the third match of the series. While there is no certainty about playing yet, there are good signs in the air.
