According to the AMD 2022 first quarter report statement, which focused on other products besides new graphics cards, processors, servers and mobile processors this period, a record revenue of 5.9 billion dollars was achieved. AMD announced revenue of $5.9 billion, gross margin of 48 percent, operating income of $951 million, operating margin of 16 percent and net income of $786 million for the first quarter of 2022. AMD’s net income was $786 million, compared to $555 million a year ago and $974 million in the prior quarter. The annual increase was mainly driven by higher operating income.

Excluding Xilinx, AMD posted record quarterly revenue of $5.3 billion, as AMD’s first-quarter 2022 results included partial quarterly financial results from the acquisition of Xilinx, which ended February 14, 2022.
