Liverpool have reached the final of the third Champions League in football in the last five years.

On Tuesday, Liverpool knocked out Villarreal in the second semi-final of the Champions League 3–2 (0–2) and advanced 5-2 to the final in Paris on May 28 against Manchester City and Real Madrid.
Villarreal led Liverpool by 2-0 after the first half and had leveled the overall goals to 2-2 at that time.
Liverpool’s defense faltered, and especially Virgil Van Dijk followed closely both Villarreal goals in the opening period.
– We don’t seem to be able to make an easy semi-final stage for ourselves. It was really hard in the beginning, especially when the opponent (Villarreal) played a really strong first half. The posture at half time helped. We did what we had to do on the field, Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold chatted to BT Sport.
The Spanish team scored from their first decent place when Etienne Capoue bait from the back post to the top plot Boulaye Diallewho failed to score in the 4th minute.
Five minutes before the break, Capoue served a second goal, from which Francis Coquelin pushed for Villarreal’s 2-0 lead.
A tremendous transformation from Liverpool
