Just days after announcing that Dying Light 2 had sold more than 5 million copies, the Techland studio is rolling out the 1.3.0 update which will change a lot of things for players, especially those who have already finished the main adventure. Indeed, among the additions that should be remembered, there is the introduction of NewGame+, which does not only consist in redoing the game with all the equipment gleaned during the first run, since the developers have changed a lot of parameters for the experience to be repeated. Basically, we will be entitled to new enemies (30 new inhibitors) which have been distributed differently, additional objects, increased difficulty, but also a new legendary weapon. What encourage us to leave for a second run. Of course, this 1.3.0 update fixes a lot of bugs, especially in the co-op game, but also brings fixes in gameplay, quests and on the technical side too. Here is the full list of fixes:
NewGame+
After completing it once, the game can be replayed again, but this time with modified game settings in place to encourage a second play through the implementation of a unique system and experience. The player can now navigate the story with revitalized mechanics. These include new enemy behaviors, more difficult encounters, new objects in the world, namely the newly added inhibitors, and many other changes that will significantly change the playstyle and allow the player to further develop their character. All of this is only available in New Game+!
– 30 new inhibitors
– New platinum objectives for parkour challenges
– Updated enemy distribution (e.g. Volatiles and Banshee spawn during night, more variety of enemy pools in encounters)
– A new legendary weapon level added
– Added golden encounters
– Enemy difficulty scales with player level
