HJK took football to the first Stadin Derby in the Veikkausliiga season when it won the HIFK 2–0 as a visiting team Miro Tenhon and Bojan Radulovicin with paints. The match was witnessed by 7 103 spectators and the supporters of both teams maintained the atmosphere from the beginning to the end.

Club captain Miro Tenho doesn’t often paint in the paintings, but has recently managed to finish in important matches. Last season, the topper silenced Kuopio’s central field when he scored the goal for his team.

– It’s nice to succeed. I may not succeed so often, but now has come to important places. It is a good feeling that I have managed to help the team. Sometimes even one goal can open the game, Tenho told Sport after the HIFK match.

Stadin Derby was the first Perparim to Hetemaj, who returned to his breeders’ club after a 16 – year tour abroad. The local match was the first of his career for Hetemaj.

– I can’t say that I dreamed of this, but I’ve been waiting awfully for me to play these games. I was a little excited before the game, and it’s been a couple of years since I was last excited before the game, Hetemaj revealed.

According to Tenhon, Hetemaj has already made it into the team’s game in a couple of matches and this has also brought leadership to the locker room with his little advice.

– Yes, he sees that he is a tough professional and has been doing that for a long time. Every day there has been a “Perpan” fitness circuit that still hurts my abdominal muscles. brings leadership to the booth, Tenho laughed.

Hetemaj’s opening in the Veikkausliiga was not flattering, as FC Inter won the match played in Helsinki 4–1. Hetemaj came on, Inter had to leave the fray.

– Of course it was bad. This was a Derby game and we didn’t want to lose this anymore, Hetemaj said.

HJK has often been in trouble in local matches, but this time the Club was on the neck. HIFK only managed to grind at the start of the second half, but the goalkeeper Conor Hazard stretched to glory control.

– We were a bit passive again, even though we had agreed not to. It had a couple of places where Conor kept us upright. Looking at the whole 90 minutes, then yes we were the team that earned more today, Hetemaj said.

The trace of Paatelainen’s hand can already be seen

HIFK also agreed Sakari Mattila, which finishes its team for a poor game, especially in the first half. However, according to him, there were no major discussions in the locker room at half time, as everyone knew what to do.

– It’s nothing more than that two nuts have to grow a little between your legs. In games like this, you can’t really escape the ball, you really have to be willing to get the ball all the time. It was started, and it was visible in the second half. We challenged better, Mattila said.

HIFK is currently the Veikkausliiga jumbo with one point. It has now played two matches with its new head coach Mixu Paatelainen under. According to Mattila, the trace of Paatelainen’s hand is already visible in the team to some extent and this has brought clear lines to the team.

– We have had 5-6 trainings and two games under Mixu. Some things come quickly, but in order for those things to come from the backbone, we have to do more and more work in the field all the time, Mattila said, saying that there is still room for improvement.

– There is a need to improve scoring, defense, special situations, in every area. I’m confident we have a good team and time, but we can’t always wait for the next game. It has to happen on the day that the game is over.

Although HJK rose to second place in the league with his victory, the reigning champion has had a rather sticky start to the season. It has been unable to finish before tonight in league matches with just one hit. Now there are two goals and Tenho promises to improve the situation.

– Next, three goals will be scored, he said.
