Threw hand grenade at Rosengård – charged for nine attempted murder

On Friday, prosecutors brought charges against a person for attempted murder of nine people. In addition, he is charged with attempted serious destruction as well as serious violation of the Flammable and Explosive Goods Act.

The attempted murder has also been aimed at another number of unknown persons.

According to the indictment, the 18-year-old man has gone to Ramel’s road in Malmö with two packed sharp hand grenades with the aim of using them against other people.

On the spot he has unsure one hand grenade and threw that several people were. Hand grenade did not detonate and when the man tried to escape he was arrested by people in the area.

The investigation has shown that the 18-year-old had no relationship with the plaintiffs and that he undertook to carry out the assignment for payment.

– A difficulty during the investigation has been to find and identify the plaintiff and witnesses who have been on Ramel’s road at this time, says the prosecutor.
