[Mis à jour le 27 avril 2021 à 17h15] Remember, in 2016, the Pokémon Go phenomenon developed by Niantic took the mobile games market by storm. Five years and, wait for it, almost five billion dollars in revenue later, the small mobile game has become big. With its 150 million players, the small virtual reality application continues to offer major events, such as the Pokémon Go Fest 2022. This festival brings together trainers from all walks of life for 48 hours, the opportunity for some to find Pokémon rare and participate in unique activities. We take stock of the event.
To begin, it is necessary to take stock of the dates of the Pokémon Go Fest 2022. The event will take place from Saturday June 4 to Sunday June 5 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.. The event will of course be held all over the world, and three special events will take place at different locations over the summer. But that’s not all, from Saturday June 4, players will be able to start the event and benefit from numerous bonuses. For players who wish, it will be possible to buy a ticket for the event which will be available for €13.99. Whether you buy the ticket or not, you will still be entitled to several advantages. For all players, Pikachu will appear with a new flower costume in one-star raids, and you can also get 9 Raid Passes for free. On the second day, the Pokémon Fest will allow everyone to access a global challenge, ie a challenge in which all players participate. Trainers will also be able to face off against a new Pokémon in a five-star Raid, for a slightly more challenging experience. For players wishing to buy the event ticket, various additional bonuses can be obtained. It includes special research, difficulty mode and game type choices, improved chances of finding a Shiny Pokémon using incense, access to the global challenge from day one, and additional Pokémon in each habitat.
To transfer your Pokémon to Switch, you will first need to link your Pokémon Go account to Pokémon Let’s Go. Start by going to the Go Complex in Parmania in your Pokémon Let’s Go game. Once inside, talk to the man behind the counter at the far left to initiate the process. On your phone, activate the GPS and Bluetooth functions. Go back to Pokémon Let’s Go, go to the menus and select “link a Pokémon Go account”. Do the same on your phone by selecting “connect to Nintendo Switch” which is at the bottom in the app settings. Wait a few moments. If your phone is compatible, you should see the message “Do you want to link the account to Pokémon Let’s Go?”. Accept, and your accounts are now linked.
To transfer your Pokémon, select the Matched option by talking to the same NPC at the Go Complex. Do the same on your smartphone by tapping the Switch icon in the top right of your page showing owned Pokémon. Then choose the ones you want to transfer to the Switch, and do the transfer. For each Pokémon you send to Pokémon Let’s Go, you will receive a mystery box that will allow you to catch Meltan on Pokémon Go for 30 minutes. On Pokémon Let’s Go, you can capture transferred Pokémon by talking to the NPC and entering the Park.
