It became a joy chaos in the TV4 studio when Eskilstunabon Abdul struck at a Trisslott. Much was at stake for the unemployed two -grandfather, who, after all, radiated both calm and hope.
“Very calm, very happy,” he said when the scrap started.
In the broadcast of News Morning, the host quickly noted the good atmosphere around Abdul – especially when the first box was revealed. Abdul told me that he usually buys Trisslotter every week, but so far only received small winnings-until he suddenly found three TV symbols.
“I feel very good,” he said, and started scratching.
When the figures lined up, sums followed five million, one million and a quarter million in rapid succession. The host Maria Forsblom noted that Abdul looked very focused, and he agreed:
– I understand, when you get five million SEK there on the first.
When the last box revealed another five million win – and it was clear that Abdul won SEK 5 million – a joyful hug balanced in the studio. His wife Lillian rushed forward and threw himself around him. Maria Forsblom turned to the camera and shouted:
– Dad did! A greeting to the couple’s three children who followed the scrap at home in Eskilstuna, excited by expectation.
Abdul was noticeably moved and described the experience as absolutely fantastic.
“My children …” he said with tears in his eyes.
There was cheer in the studio and the program manager found that the money came particularly timely – when standing between jobs.
– Very, very happy. It was you who did it, Abdul said.
“Don’t know how to pick up after this”
Now the football-interested 60-year-old-who is happy to follow Barcelona’s matches with friends-can breathe out and start planning for new opportunities. Before the broadcast was over, the host noted that the entire editorial was pleased with Abdul, who himself laughed:
– I don’t really know how to pick up after this.
