A historical romance is on the program for the new Spanish series of Netflix which is released this week. Ideal for waiting before the Bridgetonon returns.
The Netflix series with phenomenal success are counted on the fingers of the hand: Stranger Things, Wednesday, squid gamebut above all The Chronicle of Bridgerton. Since 2020, the romantic series adapting the novels of Julia Quinn, has made the heyday of the streaming platform, since the three seasons all appear in its top 10 most popular English series of all time.
If you are one of the fans of the Bridgeton, or the romances in costume more generally, the new Spanish production of Netflix should arouse your curiosity. The intrigue takes place in Madrid, in the 1880s. Elena Bianda was a pet that allowed 20 young ladies to get engaged, thanks to her strict moral line and the listening she gives to young women she supervises.
But her flawless success will find herself compromised when she arrives at the service of the Mencía family, responsible for three sisters to marry, and that she meets Santiago, a man who will question all his certainties and principles.
