Starting the week on the 31st therefore involves the question on the day when the pay arrives on the bank accounts. If, in the private sector, companies are free to carry out payment orders when they wish -that it is the same period all months -civil servants, they are fixed.
Unlike private companies, various public administrations and organizations obey a specific calendar. Fixed several months in advance, it allows any civil servant- state, hospital or territorial- to know, upstream, what day he will receive his remuneration. And the six million French people concerned can breathe.
Indeed, it will not be necessary to postpone expenses or draw in his savings to finish the week. The wage payments will be ordered on Thursday, March 27 by all public administrations. Thus, according to the banks to which the civil servants are attached, the money will be credited with the accounts at the earliest in the day of Thursday, at the latest in the day of Saturday March 29.
In reality, this date of payment is neither a gift from the State, nor a surprise. This simply obeys the same rule, every month. The deadline to order the transfers is still set at the antepenultimate working day of the month, the forever last day of the month among the working days, the working days being from Monday to Friday. Here, it is therefore Thursday 27. As usual, pay will come within the usual deadlines.
It will be necessary to wait a little more next month since, in April, it will only be on the 28 that the transfer orders will be carried out. An even later payment is to be expected for July and October, whose transfers should only be made on the 29th. On the other hand, in December, the pay will arrive from the 22nd! But beware of the unpleasant surprise because it will then be necessary to wait until the end of January to see your account be bailed out.
