It’s been almost four months since Pierre Palmade is imprisoned in Bordeaux-Gradignan prison. The Bordeaux court renders its decision this Wednesday on the sentence of the actor. He had appeared on March 11 to request a penalty arrangement under electronic bracelet. If the request is accepted, he could finish serving his sentence from his home. Recall that he was sentenced last November to five years in prison, including two farms for “aggravated involuntary injuries”.
In accordance with the law, he could indeed request an adjustment of sentence, which he did as soon as he imprisoned. His request was to be examined within four months. Stone Palmade lawyers would have asserted the prisoners’ health problems, placed in isolation but also its addiction problems, which require regular follow -up.
Pierre Palmade was incarcerated on December 9. The 56 -year -old humorist and actor was sentenced on November 20 to five years’ imprisonment, including two farms, and had decided not to appeal the conviction. He was placed in an isolation district in Bordeaux-Gradignan prison in Gironde. According to information from Figaro, it is “dirty and unsanitary places plagued by drug trafficking”. His three years of suspension are subject to an obligation of care and work. The actor says he has been abstinent for several months, and has already started psychotherapy since September 2023.
Three seriously injured
On February 10, 2023, Pierre Palmade had taken the car after three days of drug use, without sleeping. His vehicle struck a car rolling on the opposite track, in Seine-et-Marne. A 38-year-old man, his six-year-old son and his 27-year-old sister-in-law, who lost his birth, were seriously injured because of the impact. The actor was checked positive for narcotics and was tried for involuntary injuries.
Since the accident, Pierre Palmade has made a stroke then a relapse in a nightclub in Bordeaux before healing his addiction. He said he was abstinent “for 17 months”, and has no more work, now living in copyright of his sketches. During the trial, he spoke of his wish to continue writing for others, without considering going back on the boards after his judgment.
