Moviepilot, of course, these are not only articles, but above all the MoviePilot: inside that passionately evaluate films and series, network with each other and exchange tips. The basis for this is the profile page on which you can find your latest reviews, comments, favorite films, the dashboard with the activities of your friend: inside and more.

So that this area-like the rest of Moviepilot-is suitable for use on mobile devices, it was at the top of our to-do list for spring cleaning. Today we can present the new look and the first new features.

This changes on the profile pages at Moviepilot

If you log in at Moviepilot, you can see the changes yourself. The profile area was optimized for use on smartphones and tablets. This not only means that the design changes, but also that this area runs more stable overall.

The following changes are already in the profile area:

  • The design of the main profile page has been renewed so that it fits the standard of the other Moviepilot sub-page and is easier to navigate on the cell phone.
  • Favorite films and series as well as the most recently valued films and series are better visualized.
  • The dashboard tab in the profile now offers two feeds: the activities of your own contacts and the activities of the Moviepilot community as a whole.
  • The personal TV tips have been visually renewed and are now a separate tab in profile navigation. At first glance you can see all the important information about the film.
  • A search function was added to your contacts and with a particularly large number of friends: the overview is ordered with a pagination inside.

    • This is still being planned for the profile pages

    The work goes even further, because the other sub -areas of the profile area are drawn piece by piece.

    The following is currently being planned:

  • People from whom your fans are better visualized.
  • Optical upgrades for news, comments, films, series and lists come with future updates.
