Boy Opens Fire – See the Pictures

Store employee shot at Kungsmässan • See the pictures • “Did not show any regrets whatsoever”

– It is remarkable that such a young person goes in and shoots inside a shopping center in the middle of the bright day. The police have done a comprehensive investigation and in detail mapped out what happened inside the Kungsmässan, but also to a large extent the days before the shooting, which means that we have a relatively clear picture of the course of events, says Viktor Törneke, senior prosecutor.

The shooter was 14 years old at the time and the prosecutor therefore aroused a so -called evidence against him on Monday. A 15-year-old boy was charged with acting assistants.

According to the police investigation, the act was planned in an encrypted group chat on signal that was named “Headshot”. There, clothes, an electrical kick bike and taxi ride were arranged for the 14-year-old boy. The 15-year-old suspected the assistant must have gone under the alias “captain” and participated in the preparations.

Was arrested in the entrance spin – by gallery visitors

On the afternoon of October 6 last year, the 14-year-old, armed with a sharpened gun, went to the Kungsmässan in Kungsbacka. The mall’s surveillance cameras caught how he drove into an electric kick bike. The boy was dressed in black clothes, hood, gloves and was partly masked.

For 40 minutes he circulated around a specific store and passed the room several times, the surveillance films show.

Then, according to the investigation, the 14-year-old received a message on Signal that the target is now in the store. Two minutes later, the boy went into the room – and opened fire.

Nearly ten shots were fired. The target, a young man who worked in the store, was hit by one or two bullets and was life -threateningly injured but survived. This is in front of a customer and colleagues.

The 14-year-old fled out but was overpowered by the public in the entrance spin. When they intervened against the boy, he brought out the gun and fired a shot.

    “Didn’t show any regrets whatsoever”

When the first police patrol arrived at the scene and took over the arrest, the 14-year-old recognized the act and said he shot the victim “at a very close distance”.

    – During talks with suspected, he seems indifferent to the incident and spontaneously states that this is an ordinary day in his life. Suspected spontaneously says he understands that it will be delayed before he comes out again and has questions about where he will go and whether he will be placed on SIS, says the police in the investigation.

One of the police officers who later transported the boy to an SIS home wrote in an act:

“What struck me during all the hours we were with him was that he did not show any regrets or other feelings about what had happened. He talked a bit about respect and that after today’s event he had received a lot of respect. Hence no one would dare to give up on him when he came home from SIS. He also asked if he could have Playstation at the SIS home.”

The shooting man has stated in the investigation that he saw an electrical kick bike pass the store and that he then does not remember anything more. He has been unaware in interrogation as to why he was shot. According to the prosecutor, the motive picture is not investigated.

    What is the proverb?

Anyone who is under 15 and commits a crime cannot be sentenced to a penalty. In some cases, police or prosecutors may still conduct an investigation to investigate what has happened and provide the social service to be able to put in support or health care. In the case of particularly serious crimes, the prosecutor may request that the court examine the debt issue through the so -called evidence. This is only done when the prosecutor considers that it is possible to prove that the person has committed the crime. The court will then decide whether the young person has committed the crime or not, but will not judge any sanction. The court’s decision is not registered in the load register.
