The lifeless body of a six-year-old child was found in a town in Ille-et-Vilaine. An investigation for assassination was opened and the parents were placed in police custody.
Who could have killed this six -year -old child? The village of Saint-Sulpice-des-Landes, south of Ille-et-Vilaine, has lived to the rhythm of the gendarmerie since the early afternoon of Thursday, March 20. An investigation for assassination was opened and entrusted to the Redon’s research brigade, said Frédéric Teillet, public prosecutor of Rennes, to our colleagues fromHere Armorique. Although an autopsy must be practiced on Friday March 21, the prosecutor assured that “no stabb plagues were noted on the child’s body”.

We therefore do not know the cause of the death of this child. The autopsy as well as “toxicological analyzes” should make it possible to “determine the causes of death”, assures the prosecution. The parents of the child were placed in police custody. It is not yet known whether evidence leading to them have been discovered, whether or not they were known to justice, whether physical abuse had already been inflicted on the child or if they have confess.
